Morning monks & temples tour
In Thailand’s early morning hours, monks leave their temples to receive morning alms from Buddhists of the local community. Join us on an early-morning trip to Wat Nai Yang and learn about the roots of Thailand’s culture from the perspective of its most revered people. Afterwards, take a journey to explore some of the island’s most impressive temples, including Wat Phra Thong, the Chinese Temple at Tha Rua, the Big Buddha, and Wat Chalong.
Full of life and ancestry at every turn, many know Phuket for its sunny skies, sandy beaches and azure waters, but to truly appreciate our island, we have to discover its people: descendants of Chinese ‘Hokkien’ migrants from the tin mining boom who shaped what is now known as Phuket’s Old Town with Sino-Portuguese mansions and the ancient shrines of their ancestors.
Many sections of the old town date as far back as the 19th century, making for an eye-opening journey back in time.
rainforest nature trek
If you’re an avid trekker and lover of all things nature, then you won’t want to miss out on our Rainforest Nature Trek: a journey from Ton Sai Waterfall over the hill to Bang Pae Waterfall or just an exploratory jaunt around the greenery of Ton Sai. The fresh air, lush rainforest and the sound of gently-flowing water bring you closer to nature, with interesting creatures living amongst the foliage, such as flatid planthoppers, oriental garden lizards and even red land crabs.
